There is stock in Elgin, through which I am passing tomorrow or Monday.
Unfortunately SWMBO is reminding me I have 2 socket sets already and don't need another.
Not sure what your point is

SWMBO's basically saying I wouldn't need any more socket sets I get into the habit of putting my toys back in the box/sockets back in their place. She has a point.
When stripping Dark Bluie I realised I'd left my 8mm socket at home after fiddling with the Load Lugga. Luckily the 5/8" socket did the job.

There's always space for another socket set! It's good to get into the habit of putting sockets back when you have finished a job, mostly so you are sure you haven't left any somewhere where they could cause damage.
A good 1/4" set is really handy if you don't have one already, good for those smaller jobs.2008 TDV8 Sport HSE

Hope some of you guys that ordered actually get it!!
Might have to use discount code on a bigger socket set Today is the oldest you've been and the youngest you'll ever be again.

When I picked mine up the checkout lady did ask if they were on special offer, told her how much to how much. She said that explained why they had so many in the click n collect locker.
The 10% code didn't work for the LED bulbs though.

Picked one up from Widnes none of the branches closer to me had stock and on Thursday I was asked to look at a job out that way, don't you love it when a plan comes together. Looked like they had a few ready for collection when I picked mine up"Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag'em down to your level. It's cheaper".

I've had one of these sets for about a year, keep it in the car, and the ball bearing in the ratchet handle drive appears slightly out of place and nearer to the end than it should be. The sockets are therefore not quite snug and in far enough, pushing them to where it should be then the groove in the socket overrides the ball, resulting in a wobbly socket. Anyone experienced this now we've bought the world's entire stock?
