Mike at Dynachip is a specialist tuner, he tends to do mainly Land Rovers and often for dealerships. If you google them you will see he is held in high esteem

Used him on my D2, did a great job and also used him on my D3 but
decided to go the full bells and whistles and have a BAS map and EGR delete
patch as the EML light kept coming onm (08 model).
An older model won't have the issue with the EML so can't think of why
you shouldn't use Mike.
He knows his diesels and will give you what you want. I had an economy map that gave way more oomph than standard but with gentle driving, gave decent economy, probably, an additional 2-3 mpg but that disappears as soon as you start using the extra grunt.

I have heard of quite a few d3's d4's and RRs getting done by him and I don't doubt he is
A reliable reputable guy my drama is more selfish
I'm I asking for more issues or speeding up issues cos of the age and milage my d3 is i.e. Clutch turbo etc
Or will it be better on the car rather than generic map outbthe factory
Also my egr is already blanked and no need for software patch

Surely its always worth a remap on any car you willing to keep.
I wouldnt be paying Bell prices though, i think thats far to much. Its just a software load. 200 sounds reasonable, my mate who is trained was still going to charge me £150, but he does know his stuff.
