I reckon different noise levels is down to the closeness of the camera to the engine, left side right in there up to the heat shield, right side from outside the wheel arch.
To the op I suggest its just your injectors ticking away, to be sure buy one of them cheap mechs stethoscopes from ebay and get listening, it will sound a lot scarier with them on your ears!
