Fit a D4 or RRS much, much better It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Chris, why don't you look at having your wheel recovered?
Had mine done by Jack at Royal Steering Wheels
http://royalsteeringwheels.com/land-rover/
[mine is third from bottom on left in his LR gallery]
You can choose napa and/or perforated, thumb grips/made thicker, colour of stitching etc.
He even does an exchange service so your D3 isn't off the road.
His workmanship & service is excellent.
mine is napa & perforated, thicker and with thumb grips.

I'm interested in this covering of my old steering wheel.
Can you remember what sort of money we are talking about?

All depends on the options you go for.
Think mine was around £130
But well worth it imo as it lifts the feel of the whole car.

Powerful doesn't say this ones not in stock. I've got this one. Good service from them and you don't have to be without your car when waiting for yours to be recovered.

steering wheel
Hi, ive just got a D3. and the Steering wheel is pretty sticky and messy, would love to get it fixed.
Not that keen on taking it off though, is this something that you can get done on the wheel in the car, or does It need to be replaced !!
would rather pay someone to do it.
Cheers
Mark

Thanks Ron. I've dropped a message to them and asked for a quote. I'd probably drive down and get them to fit it for me. Looking forward to hearing what they come back with
