Water ingress in footwell
Whilst searching for the root cause of my "boings" and x-mas tree lights I was digging in the footwell (LHD) towards the steering wheel sensor / brake light switch.
My carpet was wet for some time now and the sunroof drain tubes were clear. But I didn't bother. F Ing. boings are more important.
Having taken the covers off I saw the sunroof drain tube being loose and the grommet being damaged.
So I fixed this drain tube by extending it with a 16 mm diameter clear plastic hose and sticking it back into the hole leading to the outside.
