Installing Remote For FBH
I have a remote control kit (originally from Bodsy, but via another member). Fitting it is probably a bit beyond my skill set I think.
Are any of the forum guru's who do this sort of thing going to be in the Bristol/Portishead/Bath area before winter?

If I can do it an untrained monkey on speed can. Just needs a but of pain connecting up and the all conquering IID. Siiiiiiimples.

Thanks beanie
Del, I'm not sure you even need an IID to enable a remote on MY14 onwards D4's. I don't have one anyway 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

2 to battery
1 to headlight dip beam
1 to heater with new terminal inserted (unless an early car)

Bit of a Hijack sorry
Read somewhere that there was an add being tested to the D3 kit that would turn the blowers on, can't remember whether it was on here or Facebook, the post had pictures of the controller and wiring behind the fan switches'
Anybody remember or have any info, looking to get a remote kit but was going to wait until I could fit both bits together
M6NIO
It's an add on to the Altox FBH controller , I understand pre production models are in test, they're from Altox Europe, I'll be ordering some more controllers in the next couple of weeks so will get and post an update

My Landmark has timed climate, which was standard spec. afaik. So do I still need an IID or similar when adding a remote?2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
