EGR Blanked and Engine Mgt Light on |
|
Hi Folks.
Is it possible to use software to bypass the engine management light coming on? My EGRs are knackered and my indie blanked them off about a year ago. Everything runs and works fine, but the engine mgt light has been on ever since. This is on my D3 57 plate.
I wondered if any of the site sponsors with their gadgets had the ability to knock off the warning for EGRs.
I got a quote today to replace the EGRs with new ones and then blank them again and it's close to £500 quid. That's a lot of dosh just to turn off a light. Any ideas or recommendations would be very much appreciated.
cheers D3 Java Black 57 Plate SE, Night Breakers, Grabber ATs, Sidelight LEDs and best of all - Narpy torch. loads more to buy.
