Suspension Problems - C1A28 and U0132

Hi All, we have in the last year done a lot of maintenance on our car. We had the Hitachi air suspension compressor swapped out for the AMK unit. I've also had a gearbox fault fixed dues to water spillage in the centre console, 5 new tyres, V8 brake upgrade all round, wheel bearing fixed, and to top it all off new lemforder front lower control arms and upper rear control arms fitted. Not forgetting parking brake rebuild. Phew!!

I've dared not add up all that lot as it's a family car and it needed the work doing. However now expecting to see many more miles of trouble free motoring my wife had some problems. I'm not exactly sure what errors she was getting or limp mode but when I got the car back it was dropped on the front air bags and showing air suspension faults.

The two key codes as read by IID are C1A28 - Triggering of LEDs in vehicle level operating unit, and U0132 Communication with dynamic suspension system/leveling control.

The last garage to work on it did all the control arms so i took the car back to them. After clearing the codes the car was driving ok and did rise up but there was a stability warning. They are a good garage but a not a specialist. The alignment was done by them after the arms were done and I believe they were all done correctly. The garage left the battery disconnected overnight and now the car is driving ok I hear. However they are sure they have NOT found the fault. The car was running on a spare tyre on the front which was worn on the inside edge so I've had that replaced so the car has newish tyres all round now with the same tread wear etc.

I've got an IID tool. From reading I'm thinking this is either a ride control sensor needing reset somehow or a sensor failure? Does anyone have any ideas?

We've got a spare car so I do have some time to try to fix this myself as I'm reluctant to spend more money on garage bills if it's something easy to reset myself.

Many thanks

I've had this problem diagnoses as corrosion in the terrain control switch. Likely from my wife leaving the sunroof open in the rain.

I'm looking for a used switch. Part number is YUD501590WUX

Does anyone have one for sale?

Thanks
