Mobile Upgrade!
So I am due an upgrade and decided on a Samsung S8, check around to see what deals are available and typically as a new customer you can get 4/5gb deals for around £840 total cost over 24 months including on EE whom I am with.
So I then logged onto my EE account to find the upgrade cost for the same package was £1221 So I contacted them and they made their best offer £1041 total contract price still £200 more than new customer gets, some reward for probably 20 years loyalty.==================================

Why not buy a OnePlus 3T or 5? Super quick phone and will be unlocked to any network. Two sims can be fitted. 30 min charge too.
I'm with EE and my monthly bill is on average £10 a month & at least the phone is yours. Ok, you need to buy it first which will set you back around £500.
Have a read of the reviews on the web.
Worth investigating

Similar issues with EE, their customer service is awful as is their website that constantly hangs and displays random messages
I'm paying about £35 a month for my iPhone 6s, seen deals for new customers on EE via a re-seller site with a free iPhone 7 and 5gb data plan for £32.99 a month but if I try and upgrade mine (I'm entitled an upgrade now) to the same phone it's £52.99 a month as an existing customer
So I thought sod it I'll start again and buy the cheaper deal as a new customer, fine except they won't let me port my number over, talk about having you by the short and curlies2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

That's not a bad idea, I guess you could do that if you move off temporarily to another network. Not sure if EE would let you bring the number back later but maybe possible.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

For a big organisation their website is woeful! Just got a text to say your new 4G max account is now active, go online to the benefits, logged on and got a blank page and then

I'm with EE and I always deal with them in their shops. That way you get instant answers especially if you deal with the manager🙏
