HELP.... new discovery 3 owner with a few niggles

Hi all,

I have a 06 discovery 3 HSE auto. Has lost power twice on motorway, seems to have done it when pushing accelerator harder at 70mph, turn off and on all fine no messages.
Today I've noticed that the cooling fan is on permanently and idles around 750-900 rpm any ideas?

Also auto dip mirrors have now decided to dip upwards instead of down!?!?!

Thanks for any help

Sorry can't help with the first two but I believe when reverse is selected the the mirrors will move to what ever position was stored the last time reverse was used.

ie put it in reverse then move the mirrors to the position you want with the adjuster, and they will remember for the next time.

Where in Surrey are you based? Geoff. Might be a good point of contact for you if he has any free time.

With the power loss it could be EGR valves or split turbo hose which is very easy to do. . Buy yourself a code reader ,They are invaluable if you have the cash get an IID BT by GAP or an icarsoft which is cheap .
