Drivers side rear door and window not opening

My 2009 D4 is taking the pi55; Censored

The drivers side rear door and window will not operate, had a fiddle with the latches ( inside and out ) SWIMBO pushing the unlock on drivers door. Then noticed that window will not function from door or drivers door control. Checked fuse (44 in fuse box) it is good and has power.

Anyone got helpful hint. : Bow down

I had exactly the same on my D4.
It was the door module, which I fixed myself. Part was 25 from eBay and just required the door card to be taken off and the new module plugged in.

Door opened last time I was home. Don't ask me how or why it just did.. but it would not lock and window still did not work, stuck disco in garage and back to work.

So home now

Module was ordered weeks back, out to garage door card off module swap and all done in under 30mins.

Brilliant!

I also had to change my hub.

My advice:- wear ear protection. I was half deaf for 2 days afterwards, due to hammer noise while belting the hub for an hour or so!

Hub change was easy just like a D2 but with more space to get the bolts out.

Even the disc retaining bolt came out, quick tap round with small chisel and hub was free.

O/S was really noisy but no play, N/S was still good but swapped anyway.

New bolts and hub nuts
