Switching off key open/close window function?

Anyone know if the mighty IID can deactivate the one touch opening function on the D4? I'm a bit paranoid of the button being pressed and held with my key in my pocket, especially on a day like today when it's piddling down. I did that on one of my previous cars and was lucky it wasn't raining. Embarassed I never use it anyway and only found out you could open them that way yesterday. Whistle

Needs a fairly long press ... I think you're being paranoid. You'd know if you'd sat on the key for that long.

and thinking about it, unlocking only needs a quick press ... so is more likely to happen.

which implies you're more worried about opening a window than leaving car open Whistle

At least the car should lock again if unlocked in error.

But I agree, opening the windows requires a much longer press, or it does on my older style large key and personally I would have thought it unlikely to be done by accident. Having said that, I don't very often keep my key in a trouser pocket.

Yes, more paranoid about getting the interior wet than the car nicked!! You can never be too paranoid re soggy interior!!

On previous car, yes the car re-locked but it didn't put the windows up, just left them all down.

You could always get a small plastic box to keep the key fob in. It's not like it's bulky or anything. Whistle
