[For Sale] D3 MY07 '56 XS Buckingham Blue £4300

Hi,

This is our ex-family car. the reason for sale is that we have moved to a D4.

It's an XS MY07 manual in Buckingham Blue with the rear seats in grey cloth but the two fronts are black D4 cloth seats.

I'd describe it as in excellent mechanical condition for it's age and mileage - which was my responsibility - but my wife, kids and other trolley-wielding neanderthals have been less than respectful for the bodywork (no scratches, but plenty of dints and dents). The interior is in good condition for its age and 180,000m. It's never been properly off-road to my knowledge.

Will be sold with 12 months' MOT

It has a FLRSH up to 75000m, then it was serviced by the erstwhile TFC up to 120,000m then by me and a local independent from there till now.

Recent work (with invoices) includes:

New stronger oil pump
New clutch/flywheel
New LPFP/HPFP/ Fuel Rail sensor
Front and rear belts and tensioners
New flexihoses and rear brake pipes
New turbo
All 3 charge pipes in silicone
New front discs, pads and calipers
New rear calipers
New battery
New rear prop
New air tank, stainless air dryer cover
New front and rear air blocks
New suspension struts including airbags at 120,000m
BAS EGR emulators
D4 bluetooth phone link with steering wheel controls

New LR genuine front upper arms and Lemforder bushed front lower arms in last 10,000m

Good tread left in all 4 Michelin Latitude Tour 3 tyres.

The car is due a valet next week so I'll post more photos then.

£4300 ono.

The car is available to view in Bledlow Ridge, Bucks (between Chinnor and High Wycombe!)

Full disclosure on condition and faults: the car has never run better but probably is headed for new rear upper arms in the next 20k based on when they were last replaced. When I fitted the D4 seats I never got the heater elements working again but i'm sure it's an easy fix. Due to the RH emulators taking power off the MAF loom there's always a MAF error code due to the voltage drop on starting but it's nothing to worry about. If I'd wired it all the way back to the engine bay fuse box then the code wouldn't appear - it doesn't throw an EML or anything and is a known issue.
