Thinking about this overnight it's as close as you are going to get to them admitting they have made a mistake with an icon. However, they will never reverse out of this until the model life cycle is complete and, of course, we have all deserted to other brands'. I now know that after 15 years of a 110, D3 and now D4 that my next car will not be a LR.

I'd heard that the delay isn't down to the Velar going through the line, rather it's due to the lack of parts for the dog-cage each D5 needs for the safe transportation of the owner's guide dog.

We worked out a long time ago that the rear was plate size sensitive and no surprise that Gerry McGovern and his team wouldn't take the blame, it may have been mentioned on here once or twice Laughing
