largest tyres on 17" wheels without fouling

What it says on the tin really - i've picked up a set of 7J x17 disco 3 alloys for off road, and want to fit the largest tyres i can so that i can run lower pressure for improved traction.

Does anybody know what the largest that can be fitted without fouling is? And I mean that in terms of real world rather than the quoted 235/70R17 in the manual.

Yes have tried searching, but all I can find is discussion around brands etc available in the recommended standard sizes - struggling to find anyone that has fitted oversize either with success or found rubbing and needed to trim plastic etc!

Thanks, maybe should of gone a bit bigger but there only on for a fishing trip to Ireland so just to go across some muddy fields, and a bit of greenlaning, I'll put the standard 19's with Goodyear wranglers back on once I get back.
Incidentally those photos are taken with suspension at standard height.

johnlad - correct me if I am wrong but they seem to be 255/65R17. But definitely are an impressive looking mud tyre!

The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

There a remould called Technic Tracker, it's a copy of the original bf goodridge mud terrain, approx £300 for the 4.
There working pretty well in the fields around the River Suck in Ireland which are both waterlogged and boggy, and only a gentle hum on the tarmac
