Radio antenna for Commercial D3 (no rear window anymore)

We are converting aour D3 from 7 seater to a commercial version.

Since the rear window including the Radio antenna is removed.
And a metal plate is mounted there is no antenna anymore.

Is there another antenna available thats fits 1 on 1 ?
Or is it better to place a complete different antenna ?

Since the D3 is going to be used for off road as well a long antenna on the roof is not prefered.

Here in Ireland we have this problem with a lot of commercial D3s, while the glass and it's aerial are left in place an aluminium panel is put inside it causing radio reception to be poor. Some people put a short roof aerial on the roof where other cars would normally have them i.e. Approx just over the interior front lights. They are normally a foot long or shorter. I've been tempted to put one on mine on the rear just in front of where the shark fin goes, but haven't gotten around to that yet. I was looking at putting it onto the blank where the shark fin goes but a friend tried that and it shattered as it's in the sun for years at this stage.

Thanks for the info.

We will remove the glass and replace it with a metal panel.
Sometimes fiberglass panels are used, then they place a wire of the same length as the glass arial behind the panel.
That works as well.

Bus since we use metal this is not going to work.

A shark fin antenna maybe an option.

Or if available a combined arial for 27MC (CB) and radio
Since CB is on the wishlist as well

I just have full black limo tint on my commercial rear windows.

(and the rear doors as well, windows are glass and electrics still work)

dutch laws do not allow glas

There has to be a metal or fiberglass panel mounted during the examination for commercial conversion

OK
You can change back after the examination but then we have to cut the panels out again.
and put the glas back in Embarassed

OK

rear window is out

Antenna Amplifier is also de-mounted from the roof.
Now i will try to make an wire antenna with the same length as in the window
And place that on the rear window
Or as a shark-vin on top of the roof
