maximum number of key fobs
so i was reading the manual and it says
"A total of 30 'slots' are available in the CJB (central junction box) software to allow for replacement and additional ignition keys. In service, T4 can be used to communicate with the CJB (central junction box) for the following:
1. Identify ignition key allocation within the CJB (central junction box).
2. Enable new ignition keys.
3. Disable ignition keys.
4. Re-enable a previously disabled ignition key. If the vehicle lockset is replaced, the keys supplied with the new lockset must be enabled and the old keys disabled.
If the rolling code of an ignition key loses synchronization with the CJB (central junction box), the remote operating functions will cease to operate. Synchronization can be restored by starting the engine with the unsynchronized ignition key and allowing the engine to run for a minimum of 6 minutes."
does this mean you can program upto 30 key fobs to the discovery 3/lr3?Land Rover LR3 SE v4.0

I don't think so, ISTR only 3 can be programmed at any one time.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I thought LR had modified the later cars (i.e D4) the only accept 2.
This was to stop thieves adding a new key of their own.

They also said they fixed the engines so they don't go bang, but they are still going bang. I tend to not believe much, if anything, of what they say.
