I’ve heard of plenty of D3/D4 drivers that would be proud of the Bmw style parking. Mark.

Like mine? I sometimes park well overhanging the line, though straight, but choose the furthest space in the car park. I think of it as defensive parking.

And don't get me started on P&C parking!! It's their choice to have children.

In my view, P+C spaces are fair game. Disabled spots are for those afflicted which is only right, but there's some very healthy looking disabled people around. Mods:

Problem is they are just not wide enough!! You seen the amount of cr@p that is unloaded from the car next in line to allow Tarquin to survive outside the car, then you have that's and a trolley full of stuff, and the errant trolley, going the other way?
For me it's find an end slot (or next to the trolley park) and park in the next along slot overhanging end slot leaving it too narrow for even a Panda. All max dist from entrance. Sorted.

Fortunately supermarkets are starting to put up signs to say "not all disabilities are visible", while I'm happy to leave a space for some poor sod who's got to handle a trolley, a pushchair or two and load children into car seats 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Take 2 spots in the car park in the furthest away corner - paid enough to fix scratched paint work due to careless others in these places!!! MY15 D4 Causeway Grey

Dell, I'm killing myself here and so is SWMBO because your approach to parking is exactly the same as mine even down to the furthest from the entry to the supermarket or whatever. Doesn't always work though as you can see.
The car on the left is Mrs's Jazz and was already parked.2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

Good choice of car for MrsG. I think peeps seek out a car to park next to, so their car isn't lonely.

A different occasion in the car park at Inverdruie. Completely empty car park and as we were leaving on foot the other car came in, drove around for a couple of minutes and then parked cheek by jowl to our Disco.
