| In tank fuel pump solonoid bypass |

Well think my solonoid is playing up as fuel pump is priming but no fuel coming from it. Can it be gutted out or bypassed what's the purpose of it?

I no the ecu can trigger the solonoid to shut off it detects a problem with car. But when would it reset it? After ignition off then back on. Just I was driving home and engine systems failure come on dash after that car lost power and cut out. No fuel pressure so dropped tank and pump is priming but solonoid is closed stopping fuel from cerculating. Any ideas?
