| Mechtronics Sleeve without completely removing pan? |

So my shop changed the transmission pan without changing the mechatronics sleeve. Is there a way of reaching the sleeve lock by just removing the pan bolts and lowering it or does the whole pan removal procedure need to be done again?

its the same thing.
fluid still needs to be removed.
probably have to remove the pan to ensure the gasket will seal again.
The only difference if a metal sump has been fitted, is that the filter won't require touching, but this is a saving of about 1 minute. (if that!)
