Ext Temp Indicator not working + Aircon not working.

My 2011 D4 aircon has suddenly stopped working. Its on, but I'm not able to regulate the temp, i.e. no cold air. I believe it may be related to the external temperature indicator on the dash suddenly not working either (temp is flatlined). Anybody seen this before?
