Looking for idea. I need to modify a hitch to take my sankey. Out of interest if I didn't attach the sidebars would the middle section fall out or would it stay locked in place?

Also, if I buy would you mind if I arranged a courier to collect? Cogito ergo sum!

2012 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 XS Auto Fuji WhiteDiscovery 4

There is a guy on one of the discovery3 & 4 forums called Ryan Wild who sells a plate for the swan neck tow Bar that fixes around it using 2 x 45mm bolts and lock nuts so it does not come out, it can be used on fixed tow bars too so that would give you extra security and stop it falling out if you do not use the side straps, there are even a few pictures of the fixed bar falling out with side straps attached

It’s happened before, item came up for sale on here, within two minutes I sent a pm, no reply, sent another pm the next day, only to be told it had just been sold and as I hadn’t put Dibs on it went to the person who put dibs on, even though I sent the pm 24 hours before first dibs went on, can’t win. As I said not bothered, just leaves a taste. Thumbs Up
