| I have no dash illumination - no lights |

So first of all - headlights work. Sidelights work. Auto on works (I assume - I can hear it click)
I have no dash lights thiough
Working through this issue I did discover that the wire that provides power to the dash was loose/broken so I re did the wire and connector and all seemed fine (although the auto lights on was always on )
The other day went out in the dark and had dash lights for a minute. Then they went dark. Now I have NO dash lights at all.
I am going to try the dimmer bypass next, but if that is not it - any suggestions?
