Roof rail retro fitting
Does anyone know if it possible to retro fit roof rails to an '06 plate that was built without them?

It is mate yeh,
As far as I remember (as I did it on mine about 9 years ago!) you need to cut the strips of plastic that are on the roof the same length as the roof rails, leave the front portion in the slot and pull the rear, longer portion out and then bolt the roof rails in place.
There is an instruction manual on how to do it somewhere on this site

Yeah it's possible.
You need to remove the existing flat trim, cut it ( there's a fitting guide somewhere on here ), pop out the plugs, screw in your rails.

Be careful with the screws they have a tendency to snap give them a coat of copper slip prior to fastening them MY18 D5 HSE LUX😎
