EGRs complete

Big thanks today to disco_mikey for his how to guide. Fitted a pair of new EGR valves and cleaned that little mass air sensor thingy bob, running like a dream again and no black smoke chasing me up the road anymore. Also just like mikey said in his how to guide the EML goes out after 3 starts .One hell of a fiddly job but well worth the time and effort. Huge thanks again to mikey and this forum, I wouldn’t even of attempted this job without it Thumbs Up

What I done is typed into google,discovery 3 egr replacement and the search brought me back here . You can always try search bar on the forum and read through each post which would definitely take longer but without doubt learn a lot more on the way

Oh OK.

I just wondered if there was a sticky showing all 'How to....." threads.

The ones I have seen have had dead links. The Wiki doesn't seem to have the "How To....." that every one discusses.

Disco_Mickey has a fair few posts so searching the threads he has started would take ages. Laughing

I just thought maybe I had missed something. MY15 BMW 5 Series Touring

To be honest I am probably missing something obvious also, but a sticky does sound good with how to search for historic treads Thumbs Up

Goto the wiki and look under maintenance. The egr thread and many others are in there 👍 Today is the oldest you've been and the youngest you'll ever be again.
