Intank fuel pump
Hi all , D3 cut out with no fuel pressure. Pump relay and fuse ok but no amps draw from pump. Anywhere else I can check before dropping tank to get to the pump ?
Thanks

I see LR trade parts on ebay sell just the motor for £50. Any one had any experiences with this ?

Hi yes there is a replacement I did the same job twice with the same pump, failed after only a couple of months apart.
Fitted the Landrover pump and never had an issue in two years. I was told by an ex Land Rover Tech the pump you get from the dealer is a geared high pressure but reduced down the cheaper pump is only a diaphragm pump and as soon as the filter in the tank gets gunked up the pump will fail.
I contacted the company that make them for Land Rover and was told that they could only deal with the manufacturer contractual rights was mentioned.
Fit a genuine one and forget about it, who said owning a Land Rover would be cheap...... Oh no one...............One life live it..........

Thanks for that. I have been trying to find a Walbro one but no luck. All I can find is PWM one from Euro but thinking it's never going to last. How much are they from dealers do you know ?
Cheers

Two years ago I paid £450 I hope yours went with an empty tank, I had to use two trolly jacks on mine as the tank had just been filled.
Good luck............One life live it..........
