heater blowers only hot on drivers side

Now the cold weather is here i have just noticed that the center and pas side vents will not blow hot air
all blow cold fine but the drivers side is the only one that will blow heat
i have done the test on it holding the recir button etc and i just get the 10 flashes then off and not more lights come on from turning ignition off then back on
I presume that it thinks there is no faults but something is stopping the heat getting through

can anyone tell me the position of any fuses etc that i can check which are relevent to the heat side of the blower system

Thanks for any help

The heat all comes from the same place. The only thing that changes it are the actuators. This is where the problem probably lies.

Hi MillerUk

Did you get to the bottom of this? is it a stepper motor issue?

Cheers

I never forget a face, but in your case I'll be glad to make an exception......

IID will tell you if a stepper motor is faulty.

There is a guide somewhere on here on how to replace irrc. Fiddly but not especially difficult. Imust find that thread as I have a similar problem myself!

a duff battery will also log step motor faults after cranking.

So clear codes and ensure they come back, before starting the car
