Sagging bottom....

Driving home tonight and heard the dreaded bong.... Shocked

Forgot to take a photo outside but did get this from the screen.

Fault code read gave

Suspension

C1A05-1C (AF) Rear left height sensor - General electrical failure - circuit voltage out of range
( at 246674 km )
Vehicle Dynamic

U0421-68 (2B) Invalid data received from ride level control module - Algorithm based failure - event information
( at 246674 km )

After a quick look with the tyre off, I remembered reading on this brilliant forum about sockets in this area failing, and low and behold within 30secs, I think I’ve found the culprit a broken wire.

As you can see the wire has broken off flush with the plug (4th from the left.), making a temp repair tonight difficult. (I was going to simply jump it? With some temp scotch locks? Whistle ) but couldn’t find them......note to self sort the garage out in the spring!

Is it possible to buy a tool to extract the damaged wire connector from these plugs? Or is it simply worth asking an auto electrician to replace this plug and the one next to it, which has also been repaired a few years ago when I first bought the truck and there was an on going issue with no power to the epb.

Appreciate your thoughts?

Edgey.

Have a go at removing the pin.

Unplug connector.
slide out any plastic locking parts from the side
remove the bung by broken wire
use a straightened paperclip (or something stronger) to push the tab in. (from connector side)
and see if you can get the connector out with needle nose plyers.

Note you need to take the tension off the pin (push it in) while releasing the tab

If you get it out, use a soldering iron to solder wire on (remember to put the sealing bung on the wire first!)
Lift locking metal tab up a little before reinserting

Otherwise cut the wire off the other connector and use 2 red crimp bullets

This is really useful as I have the same problem. Where is the multi plug located? I’ve already cleared one fault with the front left where a wire had corroded so hopeful I can fix this one.
