Thanks for the photo comments, Ive yet to "tweek" it, will put an edited version up tonight.
Dropped Disco of at the stealers for the tailgate problem this morning, who said "thats a new one on us, never seen that before!". Been thrashing round in a Freelander2 td4 all morning, quite impressed, nice piece of kit, and it flies. Just had a phonecall now, could I come back and pick up the disco, they've got to order parts to fix it, they need the freelander back as its one of the salesmans cars so will have to book the disco in middle of next week for 2 days Another 35 mile round trip then!

Heres a strange one..... As mentioned took my disco in for tailgate struts, which in the end they didnt do. I had noticed when reversing there was a slight brake noise/faint sqeal. Forgot to mention it, but since having the car back, not only is there no sqeel but im getting slightly better mpg. Is it just coincidence or was my parking brake binding a bit, they noticed and adjusted it.... they didnt mention it when I picked the car up????

Excellent.
Reminds me of those Land Rover adverts you see in Auto Express etc. Approved Used Cars where they're perched at the top of some hill looking over vast scenery captioned "Not to be overlooked"...

Nice 1. Where did you get your g4 decals from? Are they a flat plastic sticker, or a raised lamminated sticker? Never seen them in the flesh before, fancied putting one or two on mine.

Sidney - got the stickers made up myself.
They're smaller than the ones on CY's link [approx 100 x 50]
But you can buy [similar size to mine] from your LR dealer.
Chris - got the Stormers on at OR height.
Off Road at The Old Coach Rd in the Lakes.
A tame one recommended by Gareth .
