Hi and welcome
What were the codes read with?
Was it a specific Land Rover type garage you used?

If you would like to use my GAP IID Diagnostic tool on your motor let me know, I'm not a million miles away and usually in and around the Glasgow area most weeks
Just drop me a PM

Your descriptions of the faults doesn't really give much information
My reader gives you a full explanation of any fault codes, as an example
Parking Brake •
U0122-87 (A8 ) Lost communication with vehicle dynamics control module - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message ( on 18-12-2015 01:18:28 at 101040 mi )

It may be something simple, but without a code read you could be guddling about in the dark.
My offer still stands (free of course) at least would give you an idea of the problem.
Disco 3's tend to spit their dummies on a regular basis, this can turn out costly if you have to have the garage diagnose faults all the time

You can lead a horse to Water... But a Pencil Must be Lead??
Its Going to be VERY EXPENSIVE... !!! IF you don't know where you are going...any road will do!
As above proper codes would help... Do not just fall for the 'It needs a new compressor' Line.. Sometimes that IS the case, however I would be looking at the Air tank (for holes). The Front wiring for faults (chafing and corrosion) and the valve blocks... ALL BEFORE you buy and have a new compressor (and the obligatory relay) fitted...
Then look at the air bags and associated pipes...
If you intend to keep it buy a GAP iid tool.. Worth its weight in Gold.. and unscrupulous garages find it more difficult to fleece unsuspecting customers.. 1 TR6 Rusting away quietly
1 FARR UTV SOLD
1 International Harvester SOLD
7 x D3 all SOLD
2 x D4 both SOLD
1 x Mrs D4 'Panther' SOLD
1 x Outlander van SOLD
1 continual stream of car parts and me living in the garage...

I offered the use of my IID before it was due in the garage again but as the garage had diagnosed the faults, the OP didn't see any point.
