2008 Discovery 3 wiring Diagram

Does anyone know where I can get a discovery 3 TCCM wiring diagram. I'm getting a U0102 fault code and need to check the main battery voltage and negative connection at the TCCM and also the CAN Bus +/- voltages. Any help would be great.

Hi

normally U codes can be ignored, clear it and see what comes back

a low battery can throw up all sorts of errors

best thing is to use a multimeter , test the battery with the engine off and then again with it running so u can see what the alternators output is , if not pop down to halfords for a battery check

if the battery is low the CTEK battery chargers are very good , unless the battery is knackered

hope that’s helps a little

Thanks for that but I've already cleared the code and had a new battery fitted but it keeps coming back, so I'm thinking the problem is an intermittent power problem on the TCCM but without a wiring diagram I'm a bit stuck.

hi

ah didn’t realise that , the transfer ecu module , along with ur suspension ecu sits behind ur battery , they have a plastic cover over them, have to remove ur battery to get to them

read about u can sometimes get problems with bad connections / pins , if u do a quick search there are a good few posts about it

have u gone through water by any chance or put a power washer onto the engine

Is this what you are looking for?

Think it might also be on the gallery here somewhere.

Kind regards

Andy

I might be going down a blind alley but does anyone know if my TCCM problem (code PO0560) could be caused by a faulty ignition switch pack and is it worth changing?

Any chance that’s missing a letter or a number?

Thanks for your post. I think the fault code was from the Transfer Case Module and was PO560 and there was also U3003 as well. I think it read lost communication. From the wiring diagram I can see the 12v supply to the TCCM comes via the ignition switch, hence my thinking perhaps the switch might be faulty or the contacts worn or contaminated and reducing the voltage presented to the TCCM. I might be going down a blind ally though. Any thoughts?

Don't know how much this helps, but looking at the stuff I can find on your DTC's shows

Can't find the U3003 code in the workshop manual, but searching it is a pain, but I did find this thread with a post by Disco_steve

So, could it be battery/charging related?

Thanks for your post. I've already put a new battery on and had the charging circuit checked. No fault found which is why I've started to look at other things but not getting very far. The error codes come and go at will, sometimes nothing shows up for a couple of weeks then the dreaded ping and the error code is back again. Thanks anyway. Looking like I might have to bite the bullet and take it into a dealership and pay the price they charge.
