|
Good day,
The drivers seat cover on my D4 needs to be repaired. There is hole, some threads are broken.
I need advice how to remove front seat please. Which bolts to disconnect etc.
Many thanks in advance!

Easy!
Under the seat there is a connector, undo the bolt holding it together, and unplug.
Then there is a bolt in each corner of the seat, plus an extra one on the back next to the centre console.
You need to remove the covers to get to those bolts-they just pull.
I replaced both my seats last night, only took an hour to do both.
Some say you need to disconnect the battery to allow the airbags to discharge, but I didnt bother and all is OK.

Only four bolts plus the electrics very simple just pull the covers off each corner of the seat and the seven millimetre nut in the middle under the seat and out it will come the base is only held on with four hex screws, hope this helps
