Whistle while you drive..............
Oh boy do those roof bars drive me nuts.....First time time Dicso owner and the first time ive fitted roof bars to a vehicle, I didn't expect the seven dwarfs to be coming with me on every journey I do!
For ease of life I thought I'd leave them on permanently, but no they are coming off until needed. I didn't really look in to the purchase beforehand, I thought all roof bars were pretty much the same so I opted for the ones Powerful sell, good price and their stuff is usually good quality.
Will it be the same with a roof box on? How do other get on with theirs?
I've got some home made bars for moving 8 x 4 sheets and fence panels. First time I drove with nothing on them, it sounded like a jumbo jet was trying to land on the roof.
Second time, I'd been lazy and just tied the ropes rou d the bars rather than removing them. Couldn't tell they were attached until I got to about 70.
I think it just needs something to make the airflow nonuniform to kill the noise and vibration..

I have an Expedition rack fitted all the time, often bike racks on top of that, and sometimes bikes on top of that. Can't say I notice much difference. Probably hurts the fuel economy - but ifthat mattered I'd be riding a moped.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. Try putting tape over any holes or gaps on them and see if that helps.

I had Rhino Delta bars on mine originally, I found them to be much quieter than the LR bars.MY16 D4 Landmark SDV6 (The Ice Maiden)

Try a Patriot rack, roof tent and Duratracs (Good job the cd is up to the job )The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

Or put the tape over the holes on each side of you head.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
