What part/ecu from steering wheel is this?
I just changed my wheel because the leather was very worn, i found just the base for 90 gbp on ebay so I took the plunge.
The hardest part was the airbag removal for me, once that was done, it was easy.
On my new wheel I found this part which was not there on my old one?

Is this part of the heated steering wheel? Or something else?
I seem to have the clock spring in place?

Also the wheel I got seems to have the open cowls for flappy paddles which I don't have. I forgot to change the back plastic, so now I should either add the flappy paddles or just get the side covers?

Thank you.
On it says MY2014. Mine is a 2010. I seem to have the clockspring, the module all I need is a switchpack and should work?
Or 2014 won't work on a 2010?

Iirc there was some incompatibility between MY steering wheel and switch packs. Maybe worth a quick search on this site.

There are no blank covers you can buy.
You need a different rear cowl. There is one for paddles and one without paddles.Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.

I'm not scared, I'm outta here.

No 2010 ECU is different and 2014 one doesn't work on previous MY!

Thank you for that photo, the blue plastic part which goes into the wiring that is inside the steering wheel, is that connector compatible with the old module or that will need sorting out as well?
