Air suspension
Hi all not having fun at mo
Just had dash done by total tronics and now suspension is not working , had a new compressor in october.
So have a small video of what happens but cant upload
So start car no lights come on and after about ten seconds suspension flashes up and programs fault
Now i did earlier test if i had power at compressor by removing relay and linking two main prongs which gave me 14 volts at plug but nothing if i plugged it back to compressor or if i put relay back in i have nothing at all power wise there ??
Is something not asking for air ? Not sure how it all works tbh
Any help would be appreciated am located york or where to take it best place to get it sorted
Cheers

Hello,
Had the same issue on my 2008 model when I bought it from an approved second hand car seller. They had bought a new unit that was faulty. they had to get a rebuilt unit with a regulation upgrade because the new part was not available with the upgrade. that delayed the car delivery for a few days.
No suspension issue since then.

tonnes of things can cause this, in my rrs "new" compressor stopped behaving after like 8-9 months (luckily they have 1 year warranty, thanks to which change wasn't painful money wise). In the disco this fast winter I had the same faults which were caused by steering rack mounts that were ripped off the ladder chasis and steering sensor inputs didn't make any sense for the electronics. AND MAN WAS IT FUNNY TO DRIVE, but at moments veeeery scary. so the only option is to plug in diagnostics

I had the same faults.
If you‘re lucky it’s just the brake switch.
Had to replace mine twice. First genuine switch was faulty out of the box which was very confusing to beginn with._,,,_______///________

Also have you checked for play in the greenish ring on the steering angle sensor on the steering column, that can throw up this problem - difficult to diagnose though without codesMust stop buying shiny toys....
