Martin - tried to order 'show plates' from them online but because I wanted a little logo and some text on it they couldn't take it .. had to phone them instead to order. Then was told that DISCO3.CO.UK wouldn't qualify for the 20% commision. That sux.

The plate was owned until recently by an owner of a nightclub in southend who had it on some sports car. Not sure about the "cloned" van no plate! "prepare for the worst, hope for the best"

The way our reg plates work over here , very straightforward system :
First of all , two digits = Year of registration (08 ,09 etc) , year isn't split as in UK
Secondly , one or two letters to show county registered within ( D = Dublin , WD = Waterford etc etc)
Last = registration number within that year
e.g the 15303 'rd car to be registered in Dublin in 09 = 09 D 15303 or
09 D 15003 with a carefully placed plate rivet would read 09 D 15C03
Nice reg for free ! Don't take life too seriously ..... it's not permanent
