Engine failure ?
Well had the car two days driving down the road all of a sudden car cut out with revs at 0 and battery light on
Try starting and starter just clicks then goes off won’t try to turn over only thing I did hear just before was a strange noise like a slipping drive belt makes but it’s not that as I did look
Any ideas what it could of been that caused itDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

Tbh I brought it from a independent dearler and they had it recovered and gave me a full refund without and problems which I though was a result
Since brought another one today an 11
Plate with only 70000 on the clock and managed to get 2000 off the price and a years warranty
With a warranty company for free cause of the problems I had
I did get it from the same garage as although the car broke down and carnt really say it was there fault there customer
Service was the best I ever known they even paid me the diesel money I had just put in the tank backDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

Good customer service, which makes a change.
What some of these firms forget is a customer treated well is a customer for life.
Original fault could have been alternator but not important now.
Glad you got it sorted, good result D4 2016 Landmark, Waitomo Grey.
D3 2005 HSE, Bonatti Grey, now sold but still comes back for servicing.
Defender 2002 Td5 Commercial, had a hard life but slowly being restored.
I only work so I can afford to repair my Land Rovers!

The battery seemed fine as I had the blower
On while
I was waiting with all the stereo and that on so wasn’t a flat battery
And yes customer service was not was I have experianced before from
A lot of other places that’s why I brought another off himDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

He prob was mate although the new one pulled my bailey 8 meter caravan around France 3000 miles for 3-1/2 weeks without even a flutter well apart from it didn’t like cruise control up the mountains while towingDisco 3 gone but not forGotten
