V8 front brake upgrades.

Hi all, My D3 front brakes are almost worn out, and I am considering doing a V8 brake upgrade this time round.....Looking at AF's Textar, or NK offerings. Has anyone used either of these ? Or any others ? Any comments gratefully received. TIA .

Upgraded mine 30k ago and just put some new Delphi discs and pads on and they are working just as well as the previous TRW set did. They were a bargain at just over £100 for discs and pads from AF.

Yes, I’d already done the V8 upgrade with carriers on the last brake change on mine. At the price I paid for discs and pads you’re only looking at the cost of new carriers in order to upgrade over the standard brakes.

Just after clarification so you have the standard LR spec V8 disc then what is the next level without changing from 18" wheels? I want to understand the difference and what the best option is going to be for me. Not really intending any off road use. Thumbs Up
