broke down...(25th Feb)
Just broke down on the way home from work.
Engine had some really quiet clicking noises while in gear, so knocked it into neutral.
Noise goes. Stopped in traffic, and car dies. Started once, then just clicks.
Waiting for RAC.MY07 Freelander2 SE Santorini Black - Gone

RAC is up to 4hr wait - that's really pretty unacceptable at this time of day when the weather is so good. I can't imagine what the wait would be in inclement weather & rush hour.

Listed as severe fluid loss.
Needs recovery.
Will phone some places tomorrow.
He Didn’t want to officially guess at what it could be.
Judging by my explanation of what happened, he think it might just be a seal/ gasket on oil system.
Anyone know if T&S Norman are on here?MY07 Freelander2 SE Santorini Black - Gone

Thanks for the fingers crossed, and Steve's details.
He has replied and although quite booked up, I will get it recovered to him, so he can have a preliminary look at it for me.MY07 Freelander2 SE Santorini Black - Gone

It is.
However the oil is dripping out of 5 ish locations of the engine guard, and camber of road is towards n/s. could therefore be misleading.MY07 Freelander2 SE Santorini Black - Gone

Definitly started as I left work. At no point did I get a low oil notification.
There was plenty of power while I was driving it.
Hopefully nothing too major.
Arranging for it to be collected later today.MY07 Freelander2 SE Santorini Black - Gone
