Hi. Ive got a d3 v6. I’ve noticed when cornering , round s bends, the traction control lift comes on and the control starts ‘working’. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m not sure it’s meant to be doing it
TIA

i had it when the lower arms started clunking due to worn bushes, as soon as they were replaced it was back to normal
+1 for tyre pressures, I had a slow puncture and the DSC/Trac Control would kick in on r/h turns...Si

Thanks for the reply’s. Lower arm bushes? Front or rear forgive me. I had a soft rear tyre and have re inflated it and checked the others. Could his be any/all wheels or more likely front or rear? Just trying to narrow down the search.

When you say ‘clunky’, when did it ‘clunk’?
I have a ‘clunk’ on hard lock left after about 180-270 degrees, followed by ‘clunks’ as if I’m driving over cats eyes with the left wheel for a few hundred meters - few KMs
Stops if I stop and restart the car after a bit.
But I also notice traction controls coming on on a round about if I’m hard round the round about then pull hard left out of it.
Just curious.

Probably referring to front lower arm bushes as they are the most common. Rear upper arms go and cause problems too. Any significant wear on the suspension can give problems. I had the tc kick in a few times when I changed wheels back to my summer set. One was really low and one quite significantly over inflated. Got the pressures correct and it was fine. Perhaps looking with diagnostic equipment is a good idea. Jarrod

sorry just seen all the replys, it was front lower bushes you would hear the clunk going over small bumps or speed bumps a definite loud clunk. it developed over a week and that was when the tc would kick in when cornering
