Wet footwell after 24 hours of ownership.
So after 24 hours of ownership the Disco is already being dismantled....soaking wet carpets after it's first night outside - probably for ages as the previous owner kept it in a garage and mine is not ready for it yet.
The passenger footwell was soaked... so I took out the carpet - a previous owner had cut the carpet along the centre console line so that it came out easily!
I checked the pollen filter and that was dry, so does this mean it MUST be the sunroof?

Mine was sunroof drain and pollen filter.
Sunroof drain is easier then it sounds. Found removal of the sun visor the most difficult bit.
I did the sunroof drain (replaced back to the sunroof) and I still had a leak. This was via pollen filter. Made a deflector for this and no more water ingress.
Also A pillar trim. However mine had the "fix".

No, but it is quite likely it would be the sunroof drains.

Thanks for the info.
How many sunroof drains are there?
...and what was the "fix" for the A pillar?

2no each side. 1 on the A pillar, 1 on the B pillar.
A pillar external trim fix (factory) is a puncture repair patch on a open hole!

Go to the wiki and read all about it. Fix is easy enough. May just be blocked. Worst case the elbow joint has perished and you need to replace or bodge. Even that's not a hard fix. All perfectly doable in an afternoon.
