Been recently looking at getting a light bar. Iv seen the prospeed light bar brackets but wondered if anyone has used any brackets like this before on a 50" light bar?

Nope but this is how I attached mine. I used the existing hole on my roof rail where the front legs would attach to on an expedition rack and used these metal bars that I found at my local hardware store with existing holes in it. I bent the bar in my vise and then painted them. The bars hold the light bar great and they look great IMO. Remember to use stainless screws.
Narpy's Grill Mod, Suspension Rods, Ultra guage, wrangler Goodyear duratracs 265/60/18, new thermostat, diff oils changed, brake switch new, aluminum rack floor, LED driving lights in foglights, rear camera, just need gvif unit, next on list! New front arb bushings, new front valve block, 191,000 miles.
That is perfect mate, exactly what I was looking for.
Not gonna be an immediate modification but now I know what I will get & how to fit!
Like the idea that I can remove the brackets when I don't want it on & I can also have the rack on or off with no disruption to the light bar.
Cheers

Cracking looking mod guys ! Can I just ask, how do you find the bonnet glare reflection ? I used to have 4 wipac spots on my disco 1 rack and the reflection glare off the bonnet was horrendous ! Well until I painted the bonnet raised section black ala’ camel trophy.Jarrod

I had a curved 50" bar on mine with a similar mount to the above.
I angled the beam so that when on, the bottom of it would "just" kiss the A bar top.
No glare and a healthy light output down the road.
Mine was 24,000 lumens and 288w. So had a good kick from it.
I could tell where my Xenons shone as that light was yellowish in tinge compared to the crisp white of the bar.
