Is I just me - suspension query
Is it advisable to raise and lower the suspension periodically to ensure its works correctly?
Or should I leave it alone?
It seems to work fine, but as we don’t go driving up mountains just felt it’s better to test it.
Hope that makes sense

I can't begin to give you the technical answer. But I would have thought that periodic exercise of any part must save it from getting stuck........But that does come from years of owing Series Landys.1955 SWB Series 1 86 inch

Just like always using the EPB, using EAS every now and then does not hurt that being said it does every now and then self level when parked and engine turned off for example. But raising to off-road height and driving is just fine. It’ll lower itself automatically when you exceed 50 km/h, I think the bong happens in 40 km/h.

That’s what I was hoping for, if you don’t use it you’ll loose it.
Didn’t want neighbors thinking I was showing off
If I haven’t done it for a while she can sound like me getting up from a kneeling position.

On the other hand I lower mine every time I park it up and the first compressor lasted 2 years from new.

I did check my compressor and it’s an AMK date stamped 2013. The car is 2007, I’m sure there is more that can go wrong than. Just hope it doesn’t.
suspension lowered most times I park . raised most weeks to make sure it still does. HDC/Low Ratio checked out almost weekly. Deffo need to keep things moving.

Why does everyone lower it? I do when at work only so elderly spaniel can come and go as she pleases.
But if parking in supermarket car park I usually raise it to full height so the ba s that squeeze in next to me dent their doors on the side tubes instead of denting my doors D3 57 xs Stornaway grey

Last winter I got the dreaded suspension bong in -27 or so but once the car warmed up in the corporate garage (tm) everything was all right again. Seemed the compressor was slower in those temperatures, too, perhaps the elasticity of the bags is also impacted... there were some creaking sounds that don’t happen spring/summer/autumn.
I’ve got it in normal mode or when driving on packed (unpaved) roads in off-road position. Access I use very rarely.
