Hello all,
I have an issue which has slowly got worse since the hot weather regarding my temperamental alarm on a 57 plate dicso 3.
It started one night at 3 in the morning where my alarm was going off, so i rushed out in my boxers, pressed the relevant buttons on my fob key ring to find out that I couldn't switch it off. Nor get in the car to try and do something. This lasted for maybe 3 or 4 mins and it automatically re set itself. this happened 3 or 4 times, so now I couldn't lock my car at night.
Temporary solution sorted. NOT.
Only to find one morning (with the sun actually out) that the radio started playing and windscreen wipers started on their own. However I could get in the car as it was unlocked and put the key in the ignition to try and resolve the issue. So now i cant lock my car as the alarm goes off, always at night and in the early hours, so it seems. Secondly, if i leave the car unlocked and the radio and windscreen wipers on auto, these can now go off when ever they please.
Any help and advise would greatly appreciated if anyone has had similar issues.
The wife has named the car CHRISTINE. Me however, I couldn't repeat.
