05' compressor swap now problems...

So last week the car's suspension dropped on the front drivers corner, I got a C1130 & C1131.
New front air valve fitted that turned those off.

The car was on stands for this, once I removed them it dropped. Started it and no pump running along with C1A27 compressor circuit code. Thinking the compressor had gone bad I got a new Hitachi and fitted that.
Now that isn't running either, I jumped the relay pins to see if it would run - nothing, like no power to the relay, this is where I'm stumped...
I've read I might need to get it back on jacks to raise it to normal height and see if it runs, but there seems to be an electrical inhibit or fault in the wiring?

I'm going to check the front passenger wheel connections and a high voltage fuse in the BJB, is there anything I could have done to stop the compressors from activating?

Thank you.

Update: the yellow 60A has blown, swapped it out for another and the compressor now works.

How long does it take for it to pressurise the system, I’ve ran it a couple of times for around 1 minute (engine running) then shut it off for fear of overheating.

Right now still on its bump stops.

Off road height selected and it’s popped up and down with a “slowly” message,
Now at normal height and no warnings…the system now looks to be pressurised with short runs on the compressor, seems like it’s okay after the 60A fuse….feel a bit of a dummie for not knowing or checking that before buying parts!
A Thanks to this forum✌️🙌🙏

If you had a Hitachi pump before and you swapped “like for like”, I’d leave it to pump itself up. If the pump overheats, it will shut itself off and restart when temperatures are within safe range once again.

Yes, it does take 10-15 minutes from a completely empty tank. Main thing is you get that pffft noise at the end of the pumping cycle.

That 60 amp fuse was updated to 70 amp some while back. If you still have the old fuse check to see if the terminals are burnt.

Also remember to put in a new LR original pump relay. I do swap out my relay regularly every 3 years or 35,000 miles. My original pump lasted 14 years and 150,000 miles

Seems to me that instead of just giving us a relay they should also include that 60A fuse. I just installed a new compressor after mine started sounding like rattle gun and found the exact same issue. So thanks for sharing!

My pump appears to be the original 2005 "Land rover" one (as service history shows it was never replaced) but i had to do the air dryer cap fix back in 2016.
