Bleedoff pipe clips - just lost one |
|
I was trying to be so careful......and one of these clips just pinged off into infinity. Cant see it in the undertray. Might appear after driving. It's the clip which holds the bleedoff pipe to the rear of the injector
Question: Do you think I can use the car temporarily without one? Next question, does anyone know what this part is and where I can get another?
Thanks!

Don’t drive it, even though it’s a lower pressure it’s enough to blow the pipe off. Next time use some forceps to grab and lock the mechanism so it don’t ping off
As for getting one I use fleebay

Ok, thanks for the advice.
I actually had it off - it was putting it back (first one) when I was unsure of technique and it bounced back. I was using small needle nose pliers
Ironically I just had massive AF delivery arrive at my flat in Zurich this morning...

I think the modern AF ones don’t actually need to be removed. You just bend the one side out the way to release. And reinsert.
