| Landrover dog guard divider |

Eventually got a Landrover dog guard divider from John Craddock which arrived yesterday part EOH500040
On opening it I find that the keys supplied will not fit into the lock or turn it
Has anyone who has one of these experienced a similar problem as I am worried I am being a bit dense and that their is a magical way to open it
Also a little concerned that if the locks are a bit iffy what should happen if it fails with the dog inside
I have contacted John Craddock who are contacting their supplier
Any comments from owners of the guard most welcome
