Book time for rear control arms replacement ?
Good morning.
As I am ready to throw a towel on rear control arms replacement due to my hurting wrist and upcoming surgery, does anybody know what os a standout And Rover shop Book time for rear control arms replacement along with pressing out knuckle bushings ?

I heard that is usually one hour per arm, but don't know bob time per pressing out rear knuckle bushings. Anybody have any input on this ?

Just had the rear upper ones changed. The complete rear upper arms book time is 1.4 hours apparently!!!

Local dealer quoted me 4 hours for both lower and upper in rear. I wonder how much they gonna charge me for rear knuckle bushings replacement as they need to be pressed out of each knuckle assembly.

The knuckle bushings are an easy job, there is a proper sized kit that I bought to do the uppers, but the lowers I improvised with threaded rod and suitably sized sockets. As a rank amateur I will have done all 4 in an hour. Bottom ones have a circlip, top don't. Once they start moving it's easy

Book times are good but don’t account for rusted seized bolts just done mine R/H side two bolts had to be cut out took a lot longer than book timeDiscovery 3 HSE 07
