Towing electrics fitting.

Hi all, I’m trying to fit a twin electrics set on the car, and I can’t work out the orientation of the socket, the right hand side has three holes and line up with the one socket but the left hand side doesn’t appear to line up. I’m assuming the socket with the longer lead goes on the right. It’s a genuine Land Rover set.
Any thoughts and photos would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried it with the sockets hinged at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock, not at the top.

I have the right hand side is fine it’s the left that doesn’t correspond, is there something missing?

Should be a ring that fits behind the N/S socket.
