Horn wires
Good morning all can somebody please explain in simple answers the wires on the horn I have had a look at the horn itself and it has two wires coming from it is one live and one earth cheers steve
there are two wires and two scenarios, but i don't know which method the Disco uses without having a look.
1. always has a 12v supply and is operated by the other wire being connected to earth when you press the horn button.
2. earth is always connected and pushing the button makes the other wire 12v.

Cheers basically I am trying to wire up a electric air horn and the instructions say take feed direct from the battery and then connect the earth from the control unit back to negative post on battery then run speaker wire from the control unit to the speaker that’s included and put the speaker behind the grille I have done all this no problem but the bit I am looking for help with is the instructions say take a positive 12v trigger from your horn ring so the air horn knows when you press the horn button to make its sound

A link to what you purchased would be good.
Does it include a 4 pin relay ?
